Overview: The Felco C108 two-hand cutter is recommended for cutting very hard materials. The cutter's force transmission system applies the maximum leverage just at the right moment, making easy work of the most stubborn cables. The cutter principally intended for use in the oil industry, forestry, power, transport and telecommunications, but is also excellent for use on yachts and in ports. Hardened steel blades and center bolts are made of unbreakable forged aluminum alloy handles with plastic covering for good grip. All parts are designed for maximum protection against rust and salt water. This tools is suited for quick easy cutting of shrouds, stays, halyards and other rigging of high-tensile wire rope or cable up to 5/16 inch diameter or 8 mm thick, high tensile steel strands up to 8 mm thick, stainless steel strands up to 8 mm, extra tough wire rope or stands up to 8 mm, electric cables of copper, aluminum or steel-cored aluminum up to 8 mm, aluminum or copper rods up to 8 mm diameter, steel rods up to 8 mm and tempered steel spring wire up to 6 mm.

FELCO s innovative triangular cut allows you to progressively cut cable wires and at the same time avoid squashing of strands. Thanks to this feature it is generally not necessary to tie the cable before the cut.

Oiling
